VerticalSim Teases Orlando and California Airport Sceneries for MSFS

Disney fans are going to have a very good year — VerticalSim hints at Orlando International and a Southern California airport, both minutes from Disney parks.

VerticalSim has dropped some not-so-subtle hints about their next two scenery projects for MSFS, and Disney fans should be paying attention.

The Clues

In a Discord announcement, VerticalSim teased that "Disney fans are going to have a very good year" and that both upcoming airports are "just minutes away from the magic." That narrows things down considerably.

Florida: Orlando International (KMCO)

With a JetBlue hangar visible in the preview image, the community is confident the Florida scenery is Orlando International Airport (KMCO) — the gateway to Walt Disney World. This would put VerticalSim in direct competition with Taxi2Gate's existing Orlando scenery from 2023.

California: John Wayne or Long Beach?

For California, VerticalSim hinted at an airport "for those looking to avoid hubs." The leading candidate is John Wayne Airport (KSNA) in Santa Ana — just 15 minutes south of Disneyland and historically served by Disney shuttle services. Long Beach (KLGB) is another possibility, though John Wayne's closer proximity to Disneyland makes it the favourite.

What to Expect

These two projects expand VerticalSim's growing Florida and California portfolio. No release dates or pricing announced yet, but the tease suggests development is well underway.
