TaiModels Releases Porto Airport for MSFS 2020 and 2024
Portugal's second-busiest airport gets a detailed new rendition from the developers behind Singapore Changi, competing directly with MK Studios' established version.
Porto has always been one of those airports that punches above its weight in the flight sim world. It's not just the traffic — though Ryanair, easyJet, Vueling, and TAP all have a presence there. It's the approach. Sitting close to the Atlantic, LPPR can throw seriously tricky weather, from frequent thunderstorms to thick fog, making it a favourite for pilots who want something more engaging than a blue-sky arrival.

Now the airport has a brand new payware rendition from TaiModels, the developer behind recent releases like Singapore Changi.
Entering a Competitive Market
Porto isn't unexplored territory in the MSFS scenery market. MK Studios released their version back in 2021, and it became the go-to recommendation ever since. That version was built for MSFS 2020 and, while it still works, wasn't built from the ground up for MSFS 2024's updated engine.
What TaiModels Includes
According to the developer, the scenery features:
- Hand-crafted PBR ground markings and textures reflecting the airport's most recent layout
- Latest taxiway extensions included
- Detailed terminal interior
- Realistic airport lighting
- Animated screen among the featured details
The wider airport grounds, including cargo buildings, aprons, and taxiways, are recreated using MSFS PBR materials optimized for both platforms.
Pricing and Availability
TaiModels Porto is available now via the iniBuilds store, priced at approximately €18.00 — roughly in line with MK Studios' existing version and others in this segment of the market.
For virtual pilots who frequently fly Portuguese routes or want the latest in MSFS 2024 visual fidelity, this is worth a look.
