Orbx has published a new scenery for MSFS 2024 — McKinnon St. Simons Island Airport (KSSI), developed by indie creator Andreas Hegi. It's a native MSFS 2024 build, not a port, taking full advantage of the new SDK and environmental systems.

The Airport

KSSI sits along the Georgia coast, serving Brunswick and the surrounding Golden Isles. It's a charming blend of coastal atmosphere and general aviation — expect Gulfstreams mixing with Cessnas, corporate traffic alongside weekend flyers. The kind of airport that makes GA flying in the sim feel authentic.

What's Included

The scenery features UHD PBR texturing throughout — weathered asphalt, detailed hangar façades, and building details captured from on-site photography. Being built natively for MSFS 2024 means full compatibility with the updated physics and lighting engine.

Pricing

Available from Orbx for $26.99 AUD.
