Nimbus Simulation Studios has shared a handful of in-development screenshots of their upcoming Boeing 707-320C for X-Plane 12, and even at this early stage, the attention to mechanical detail is impressive.

What We Know

The developer reports that wings and engines are now in the paint shop, with the internal mechanisms for thrust reversers and control surfaces — including flaps, ailerons, spoilerons, and slats — fully modelled and animated.

Why It Matters

The 707 is one of those aircraft that changed everything. It essentially launched the jet age for commercial aviation, and having a high-quality simulation of it in X-Plane 12 would fill a significant gap in the vintage airliner category.

No release date or pricing has been announced yet. We'll keep you posted as development progresses.
