iniBuilds Releases 50-Minute L-1011 TriStar Preview Ahead of Official Showcase

iniBuilds has dropped a substantial development preview of their upcoming L-1011 TriStar for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and the timing is intentional. An official live showcase is happening today.
The new video offers an extended look at the aircraft in action — nearly 50 minutes of raw development footage. Systems, sounds, and handling characteristics are all on display.
For those unfamiliar with the aircraft, the Lockheed L-1011 was engineering brilliance that arrived at the worst possible moment. It competed directly with the McDonnell Douglas DC-10, entered service in 1972, and only 250 were ever built — well short of the 500 Lockheed needed to break even. But the aircraft itself was revolutionary, featuring the first autoland system on a widebody, four independent hydraulic systems, and an S-duct centre engine design that eliminated the pitch-up behaviour on engine failure that plagued its competitor.
iniBuilds has scheduled an official showcase for March 18 — today. This suggests the aircraft may be closer to release than many expected. Given iniBuilds recent track record with the A300 and Hong Kong scenery, there is reason to expect solid execution.
No pricing or release date has been announced, but given the showcase timing, expect more details imminently.
