iniBuilds Hong Kong International Airport Now Available for MSFS 2024
One of Asia's busiest aviation hubs gets a detailed MSFS 2024 recreation with terminal interiors, city landmarks included free, and a routes sale to celebrate.
After weeks of teasers and trailers, iniBuilds has officially released Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The scenery covers the entire Chek Lap Kok complex and includes a free Hong Kong City Landmarks pack with every purchase.
A Major Hub Done Right
Hong Kong International is one of the most important aviation gateways between East and West. It serves as the primary hub for Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, and HK Express, with long-haul routes stretching across North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East, plus dense regional coverage throughout East and Southeast Asia.
iniBuilds has built this one from scratch using the latest MSFS 2024 SDK. The scenery features hand-crafted ground textures with bespoke runway and apron materials, detailed terminal interiors you can walk through, accurately positioned dynamic lighting, and HD jetways. The current real-world airport layout is fully represented, including custom taxi signage built to real-world specification.
City Landmarks Included Free
The standout move here is the bundling strategy. Instead of selling Hong Kong's iconic skyline as a separate premium product, iniBuilds includes the city landmarks pack at no extra cost with the airport purchase. That means Victoria Harbour, the International Commerce Centre, and the Bank of China Tower are all part of the package — giving pilots the authentic visual context that makes a Hong Kong arrival so memorable, especially during night operations.
The developer also notes that a significant portion of the real-world terminal is currently under construction. Once that work finishes, iniBuilds plans to add it as a free update.
