iniBuilds A350 Airliner Gets Major Systems and Stability Update in v1.2.3
The popular widebody receives an extensive update fixing WASM crashes, TCAS behavior, flight director sensitivity, and dozens of other systems and art issues across MSFS 2020 and 2024.
iniBuilds has released version 1.2.3 for the A350 Airliner, delivering a comprehensive update focused on system stability, navigation logic, and overall usability for both MSFS 2020 and 2024.
Stability Fixes
The most critical fix addresses a WASM crash that could occur after selecting a STAR in the flight management system. For pilots who have experienced mid-flight crashes during approach setup, this alone makes the update essential.
Other significant systems fixes include:
- TCAS improvements - No longer triggers from non-factor aircraft, and properly differentiates aircraft types instead of labeling everything as "HEAVY"
- Flight Director sensitivity refinements
- Cost Index logic corrections
- Waypoint revision logic improvements across Active, Temporary, and Wind pages
- Step descent logic fixes
Navigation and FMS
The flight management system receives numerous improvements:
- Fixed STAR selection stability
- Corrected waypoint selection for duplicates
- Fixed Place Distance waypoint calculations with negative distances
- Improved secondary airways logic
- Fixed constraints and altitudes below transition level display
Art and Sound
Beyond systems, the update addresses visual and audio issues:
- Fixed cabin window flickering
- Corrected cabin lighting - Low, medium, and dim settings now work as intended
- Refined RA callouts with balanced volume and attenuation
- Improved gear extension sounds in cockpit and cabin
- Fixed exterior sounds in MSFS 2020
Availability
The update is free for existing owners. New copies are available from the iniBuilds store for approximately 80 USD.
