FlightFactor Teases Boeing 777-300ER for X-Plane 12
FlightFactor drops preview images of the upcoming 777-300ER variant with a Soon release hint. Existing 777-200ER owners will get an upgrade path.
FlightFactor has shared new preview images of their upcoming Boeing 777-300ER for X-Plane 12, accompanied by the classic developer response to "When?" — "Soon™".
The Teaser
The images, posted on the developers social media, show the stretched variant of their popular 777 series looking polished and ready for final development stages. The accompanying text — "When 77W? When: Soon" — suggests the release may not be far off.

Why the 777-300ER Matters
The Boeing 777-300ER is one of the most successful long-haul widebodies ever built. It forms the backbone of many international airline fleets, combining high passenger capacity with ultra-long range capability. Routes like London to Singapore, New York to Hong Kong, and Dubai to Los Angeles are typical 777-300ER territory.
For virtual pilots who already fly FlightFactors highly regarded 777-200ER, this represents a significant expansion — more range, more passengers, and access to liveries from carriers who operate the stretched variant.
Upgrade Path for Existing Owners
FlightFactor has confirmed that the 777-300ER will be offered as an upgrade for current owners of the Boeing 777-200ER V2. Pricing details have not been announced yet, but this approach is consistent with how the developer has handled previous variant releases.
No firm release date or standalone pricing has been revealed. We will update as more information becomes available.
