The Flight Sim Awards 2026 are approaching their climax. Public voting has closed, and the winners will be revealed during a ceremony on Friday, March 20th, 2026, held in cooperation with FlightSimWeekend.

How It Works

The nomination process combined input from multiple sources — community surveys, content creators, media outlets, and the Awards organising board and jury. The goal was to ensure the shortlist reflects the full breadth of activity across flight simulation, from aircraft and scenery development to tools, content creation, and individual contributions.

Following community feedback from last year, the organisers reviewed all nominees to confirm they were either released in 2025 or had a significant impact or update during the calendar year.

The Ceremony

Winners will be announced at the Flight Sim Awards ceremony during FlightSimWeekend. If you want to attend in person, Captain's Dinner tickets are available through the FSWeekend website.

Who's Behind It

The Flight Sim Awards are organised jointly by Threshold, FSElite, and Cruiselevel — three of the most established media outlets in the flight simulation space. The Awards aim to provide a transparent platform to recognize excellence within the global community.

Regardless of who takes home the trophies, the sheer quality of nominees this year speaks volumes about the state of flight simulation heading into 2026. Stay tuned — we'll cover the winners as they're announced.
