The North Carolina airport, widely known as "NASCAR's Airport," serves as a reliever for Charlotte Douglas International and is home to many of the sport's most successful racing organizations.

JQF's identity is deeply tied to American motorsports due to its location in Concord, North Carolina — the heart of NASCAR country.
