Drzewiecki Design has released Newark Liberty International Airport (KEWR) for X-Plane 12, and it's a thorough rendition of one of the New York area's busiest hubs.

The Airport

Newark is a major United Airlines hub and a significant transatlantic gateway, with frequent flights to Europe, the Middle East, and select destinations in Asia and South America. It also handles substantial cargo operations, making it a versatile destination for sim pilots whether you prefer passenger ops, cargo runs, or short domestic hops.

Features

Drzewiecki has gone deep on this one:

  • Full PBR texturing with X-Plane 12 native materials
  • Advanced night lighting and weather-responsive surface effects
  • Detailed terminal interiors in selected areas
  • Animated SAM jetways with Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS)
  • Animated marshallers and custom ground vehicles
  • Accurate lighting systems — ALSF approach lighting, PAPIs, REILs, stop bars, and high-intensity edge lighting
  • Fully modeled control towers, maintenance facilities, and hangars

The scenery reflects the latest airport layout with extensive detail across the entire airfield, all optimised for performance.
