Dominic Design Team Announces Indianapolis International Airport for X-Plane 12
Indianapolis International Airport is heading to X-Plane 12 with detailed buildings, accurate layouts, and custom night lighting from Dominic Design Team.
Dominic Design Team has announced plans to bring Indianapolis International Airport (KIND) to X-Plane 12, adding another major US hub to the platform's scenery library.
Indiana's Primary Airport
Indianapolis International sits about seven miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis and serves as the primary airport for the wider state of Indiana. The modern terminal complex features two concourses handling commercial traffic from American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines across a range of domestic routes.
The developer has confirmed the release will include highly detailed airport buildings, an accurate runway and taxiway layout, custom ground markings and textures based on real-world data, and realistic night lighting. The scenery is being built specifically for X-Plane 12, which should help with optimization.
Details are still limited — the announcement came alongside a trailer, with more previews promised as development progresses. We'll update this article as new information becomes available.
