DC Designs Concorde Now Running Native in MSFS 2024, Release Next Week
The iconic supersonic airliner has been successfully converted to a fully native MSFS 2024 aircraft, with DC Designs targeting a release next week. F-16 and F-14 conversions to follow.
DC Designs has confirmed that their Concorde is now running natively in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with the developer targeting a release next week.
Native MSFS 2024 Build
According to the developer, Concorde has been successfully converted to a fully native MSFS 2024 aircraft with core folder structures now complete. Work is currently focused on refining smaller details ahead of the planned release, suggesting the project is in its final stages of preparation.
Career Mode Coming Later
While Concorde will launch without full career mode integration, DC Designs has confirmed that support for the feature is planned. Due to the complexity involved in integrating aircraft into MSFS 2024 career system, this functionality will be added post-release once the aircraft is stable on the new platform.
More Conversions Planned
Following Concorde, DC Designs will shift focus to converting their SC Designs F-16 series to MSFS 2024. This will mark the developers first multi-variant conversion for the new simulator, requiring additional work compared to single aircraft projects.
Once the F-16 package is complete, the team plans to continue updating their wider portfolio, with the F-14 Tomcat expected to be among the next aircraft to receive a native MSFS 2024 conversion.
