Aerosoft Shares Official A340-600 Pro Trailer for MSFS
Aerosoft and ToLiss reveal the official trailer for their upcoming A340-600 Pro, bringing X-Plane-grade systems depth to MSFS with custom flight model, EFB, taxi camera, and full autosave.
Aerosoft has released the official trailer for the upcoming Airbus A340-600 Pro for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This collaboration between Aerosoft and ToLiss brings the highly-regarded X-Plane A340-600 experience to MSFS.
What the Trailer Shows
The trailer showcases the lengthy widebody Airbus from various perspectives, with external views and detailed looks at the cabin and cockpit. The aircraft appears with its engine covers open, hinting at possible maintenance features. We see multiple real-world operator liveries and the distinctive middle bogey gear performing smooth landings.
Key Features
The A340-600 Pro comes packed with features unusual for MSFS:
- Custom flight and engine model — Should handle similarly to its X-Plane counterpart
- Full autosaving — Save and restore your flight at any point
- Taxi camera on PFD — Helpful for maneuvering this lengthy aircraft
- PDC/CPDLC connectivity — For VATSIM and IVAO flights
- EFB with 300+ failures — Deep systems simulation
Collaboration Details
The project has a clear division of labor: Aerosoft handles the visuals while ToLiss works on the systems. Recently, the team released 50 minutes of footage and a live stream featuring real-world A340-600 captain Stefan alongside developers Rafi (Aerosoft) and Torsten (ToLiss).
No release date has been announced yet, but development appears to be in its final phases.
